Cask & Larder Recognized Among Best Airport Dining in US

Orlando International Airport Concept Named to Two USA Today 10 Best Lists

ORLANDO, Fla. (April 12, 2018) — Travelers at Orlando International Airport can have a true foodie experience next time they take flight.

Cask & Larder, located in the airport’s Terminal 2, was recently named to two lists of the best airport dining experiences in the country by USA Today’s 10Best.

The airport eatery took second place on the list of Best Airport Local/Regional Dining, beating out restaurants in Baltimore/Washington International Airport, Chicago O’Hare International Airport, Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport and more.

OIA’s Cask & Larder was also named among the country’s Best Airport Sitdown Dining, coming in fifth.

The 10Best list comes with a major industry stamp of approval. Airport Revenue News (ARN), a top industry trade, worked with experts to vet and nominate 15 finalists for each list. Readers then had four weeks to vote on the nominees daily. Cask & Larder took third place in the Best Airport Local/Regional Dining category in 2017.

Cask & Larder at the Orlando International Airport is a concept of MasterConcessionAir. MCA is committed to delivering unique brands and experiences to travelers in transit, tapping into the latest trends. Cask & Larder does just that with a “farm-to-terminal” experience, offering Southern-inspired fare with fresh, seasonal menus and ingredients, created by James Beard nominated chefs.

“At MCA, we strive to bring unique restaurant concepts people would want to visit even if they weren’t traveling,” CEO Peter Amaro Jr. said. “This honor shows how successful Cask & Larder has been at achieving that goal. We look forward to building on this success both at Orlando International Airport and at airports around the world.”
